Strengthening and Building Our Family in Christ

“But God has combined the members of the body and has given greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.” (1 Corinthians 12:24b-26)

Our Family in Church is intricately formed by God’s gracious hands.

Combining us together as one united body where one part suffers every parts suffers with it and where one part is honoured every parts rejoices with it.

Such a beautiful description of the Church God intended to be!

Hence, the health and growth of the Church depend upon the well-being and maturity of every member as well as the contribution of every member with the gift God has given to each.

Our journey together as a Family in Christ, building, strengthening and being the Church God has called us out to be.

As we commit our Family in Christ to the Lord’s leading and nurturing, we also commit ourselves to God in our spiritual growth so as to deepen our walk with God and our relationship as a community of faith.

In strengthening and building our Family in Christ, let us spur one another on to grow as a disciple of Jesus and to have equal concern for one another.

In building and deepening our relationships, let the love of God spur us on to love one another and gird ourselves with the posture of humility to serve one another and the Church.

In building a witnessing lifestyle, let us strive to grow in godly character so as to be a living testimony for the Gospel.

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.

Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. (Ephesians 3:20-21 NLT)

In Him we love and serve,

Rev Daniel Lee
